I have been using devices operating Windows for many years, but a couple of years ago, I have switched to macOS as it brings the best of both Unix and Windows worlds. It offers a powerful native command line for web development and the option to run Adobe Suite tools for graphic and UI/UX related tasks. A decent screen is just a bonus.

As a hobby photographer, color plausibility, both in post-production and in graphic design and UI/UX, is very important to me. Working with colors accurately requires regular calibration. Eizo's ColorEdge series offers several options to get the job done.

For improved performance with an external monitor and seamless integration with macOS.

macOS gestures would not be possible with other rodents.

Griffin elevator stand for laptops

For better height adjustment between the laptop screen and the external monitor, since the Griffin is around, finally, I can have my books back in the library and throw away the paper box. :-D

iTerm2

I currently use iTerm2 v3 with the Cobalt2 theme made by Wes Bos. Lately, I am contemplating completely switching to Warp terminal.

Visual Studio Code

For a simple day-to-day tasks and front-end development, I use the VS Code editor with the Cobalt2 theme from Wes Bos

PhpStorm

For a full-stack development and more heavy-duty, all-around projects, I prefer PhpStorm IDE from JetBrains. It's essentially WebStorm IDE PHP language support.

Adobe Suite

In most cases, I use Adobe Suite tools as a hobby photographer and digital designer. I have used Sketch and Figma in the past, based on the team's preferences.

Flycut

Clipboard manager for more advanced copy and paste actions. Still using despite of the presence of the Clipboard History extension for Raycast.

Rectangle

A free version of Rectangle. Move and resize windows in macOS using keyboard shortcuts or snap areas, exactly like you are used to in Windows. Replaced by Raycast Window Management.

Raycast

I have been using Alfred for years, but I have always felt that something could be improved. I believe it could be made more user-friendly and easier to set up. That is precisely why I recently switched to Raycast.

Rocket Pro

Rocket is a cool macOS emoji picker for faster and fancier typing. 😎

Things

I use the Things app as a personal task manager to organize my to-do list, stay motivated, and accomplish more each day. You can find more information about the app at official site.

ForkLift

There are many free file transfer clients for macOS, but once I have tried ForkLift the most advanced file manager and file transfer client seamlessly integrated with native macOS Finder, I got hooked on it.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom

In my opinion, the best tool out there for organizing, retouching, and publishing pictures.

This camera has more tricks up its sensor than a magician's hat. It's got more buttons than a game controller, and low-light skills that could make a vampire jealous. Now, seriously, it is one of the best DSLRs on the market for outdoor and low-light photography, thanks to its stunning fidelity and precision in color representation.
